This scuba headlamp just became my all time favourite headlamp. I'll prefix this by saying that I worked in the mines for over 10 years. I have worn a multitude of headlamps and spent MANY hours working long nights with a headlamp as my primary source of illumination... Although this markets itself as a Diving headlamp, its an excellent normal headlamp in my experience so far. The light is perfectly focused, not too wide and not too skinny. Its very adjustable, its modular so it can mount with any G0Pr0 setup. I LOVE that it has a simple on off button. No silly flashing modes. Just on 100%, 50% and off.. Although I have to admit, I wish the 2nd mode was substantially dimmer as there is very little difference between the brightness of the 2 modes. It's more like 100% and 85%.... I would want a lower mode for different settings and greater energy conservation. I like that the colour is not cool white, its not warm white but somewhere in between. Very natural colour. It looks well sealed, with double O rings and a firm fit. It comes with spare O-rings, and would suit anyone in a dirty environment. That being said, it gets quite warm out of the water, so I could be doing damage by not giving it the ability to cool as you would expect in water. Time will tell and I'll update the review if I run into any issues... Charging is easy with USB, although it appears you need to turn it on in order to complete the circuit for charging which is a little counter intuitive. The head strap is solid, and it doesn't move... Great product, with a great unboxing experience if your looking to gift it. As someone who has done a lot of diving's if your looking to use this under water, I think it would be a good thing. Just I'm not sure how it would be having any light reflecting off your mask glass with a light mounted above your eyes.

The AULITE diving headlamp is a very solid and heavy-duty torch with a full metal body. The light output is extremely bright and easily lights up a large area, even though I don¡¯t have a way to measure the actual lumens. The head strap is adjustable and fits snugly, staying in place well. However, because of the metal construction, the torch itself is quite heavy for a headlamp. This wouldn¡¯t be an issue when used for diving, but if you¡¯re wearing it for other activities like fishing, it does feel heavy on your head after a while. One thing I noticed is that when used out of the water, the torch body gets very hot after about five minutes of continuous use. I ended up switching it off as it was nearly too hot to hold. This wouldn¡¯t be a problem underwater, where the water would keep it cool, but it¡¯s something to be aware of if you plan to use it on land. Overall, it¡¯s an extremely bright torch that works well for its intended diving use. It can also be used out of the water, but I¡¯d recommend using it for shorter periods rather than extended run times.

AULITE Diving Headlamp feels sturdy and well made from aluminium. After some adjustment, the silicone strap sits snugly and does not slip. It is easy to adjust the angle of the headlamp and the screws let you tighten it so it stays firmly in place. The USB-C end cap was very stiff at first but loosened after the first charge. The dual LEDs produce a wide beam. It runs over two hours at full brightness. Charging from empty took over three hours. Repeated presses of the power button cycle between 100 and 50 per cent brightness and off. The headlamp weighs just over 200 grams and sits comfortably for extended use. The interface is simple, with one button. The headlamp has only two output levels, with no strobes or extra modes. The o-ring seals are suitable for repeated wet use, such as night dives, shallow coastal diving, or low-visibility water. It is easy to rinse off after use when dirty. This headlamp suits divers and outdoor users who want a reliable, rechargeable light for underwater or wet conditions. It also fits scenarios like fishing in heavy rain, shoreline work, or tasks where regular splashing is expected. Compared with lighter plastic headlamps made for hiking or camping, this one feels heavier but more secure and better suited to repeated water exposure. It also works for less wet requirements, but smaller or lighter options may be more convenient for casual use.

A rugged, bright, and waterproof headlamp

A solid, well-built light that feels premium thanks to its aluminum body and thoughtful design. The silicone strap adjusts snugly, keeping the lamp secure even during vigorous movement, and the angle can be locked in place.

Dual LEDs deliver a wide, warm beam that¡¯s bright enough for night dives, shore fishing, or other wet conditions, and the IP68 waterproof rating ensures it can handle repeated submersion. It runs on a replaceable 18650 battery with USB-C charging, offering over two hours at full brightness.

The single-button interface is intuitive, switching between high, low, and off quickly. While heavier than typical outdoors headlamps, the weight makes it feel secure and built for repeated water exposure. The heat sink is not terribly good, without being submerged it does heat up significantly.

    Recommended for marine loving adventurers!

    Bright and long lasting

This is a very well made little head torch. The main canister holds a replaceable and rechargeable Li-po battery. The included one is 3000 mAh. There’s some kind of glue on the thread here though so you’ll have to clean that up if you open the battery canister.

There are two O-rings on either end to provide the watertight seal. Make sure to keep these clean and perhaps put a little Vaseline on them to help with the seal and to prevent the rubber from perishing over time.

The battery constitutes most of the weight here.

Two LEDs at the front are quite bright. I can’t verify the claim that they’re 1000 Lumens, but I can believe it.

Unlike some underwater lights, this one seems safe to use above water too. It didn’t get excessively hot in my tests in air.

The head strap has a rubber inlay which helps it stay put on your head. The plastic front and back could be a little uncomfortable if you over tighten the straps.

The torch itself has a pretty standard connector (similar to that I’ve seen on GoPro accessories) meaning that you can fix this torch on several different mounting options across the ecosystem.
