Can’t think of a better light to have in the car for roadside emergencies. It has an SOS function, can be mounted to almost any part of a vehicle thanks to the strong magnetic base, and the included shroud that turns this into a light wand is amazing for signaling. This would be a really good tool to have for security professionals or traffic workers as well. I threw mine in with my emergency kit in the car and it’s already come in handy when I needed a strong light. Really awesome product!
This flashlight packs a lot of functionality into a surprisingly compact form factor. Compared to other traffic wands I’ve owned, it is:? Smaller (less than 7 inches long),? Brighter and more visible (compared to those, visibility-wise, this wand’s brighter LED’s make up for others’ longer filter cone.), and? Sturdier (thanks to its aluminum alloy frame and optical-grade plastic cone).I serve as a first-responder and Incident Commander for events ranging from injured individuals to vehicular mishaps to fires and structural failures, all of which typically require redirecting traffic and pedestrians. My volunteer team rarely carries wand attachments for their flashlights, so having this tool always in my rig proves indispensable. Many of those situations also require urgent attention-getting, and the flashlight’s 130-decibel whistle alarm accomplishes that in short order.
